Welcome to Forks in the Road! We are Annemarie and Jaco and we are delighted that you have taken time to check out our blog and join us on our route as we embark on a road trip to visit all states in the US.
Ever since we moved to the US two years ago from the Netherlands, we dreamt about doing a classical American road trip. Initially planning potential smaller trips but over time we got more ambitious, to the point we are now: a 100-day road trip, starting in New York and ending in New York, while visiting almost all US states in between.
We hope that after reading some of our stories, checking out our pictures and following us on this trip, you will be inspired to travel this amazing country we have called home for the last two years. To get it started we have already added some blogs on states we have visited in the past, but won’t revisit during this trip (e.g. Hawaii, Alaska, Nevada)
Yellow coloured States we have visited. The red coloured State is where we currently are. During our trip we will update the map in real time. Clicking on one of the States will bring you to their respective blogposts and images.
